Returns & Refunds Policy

At Archive Essentials, we want you to be completely satisfied with your care ritual. We understand that sometimes a product may not be exactly what you were looking for.

1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 30 days of receiving your goods. 

To exercise this right, please notify us athello@archiveessentials.co.uk within this 30 day window. You then have a further 14 days to return the items to us.

2. Condition of Returns
For a refund to be processed, items must be returned in their original, unused condition. 

Hygiene Exception: Please note that for health and hygiene reasons, any liquid care products (cleaners, conditioners, protectors, or sprays) that have been unsealed or used cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we reserve the right to deduct an amount from your refund to reflect any loss in value.

3. Return Postage
Unless the item is faulty or not as described, the cost of returning the item is the responsibility of the customer. However, if an item arrives damaged or faulty, we will cover all return postage costs infull. We recommend using a tracked delivery service for all returns.

4. Processing Your Refund
Once we have received your returned items, we will inspect them and process your refund. You will receive a notification via email. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. This includes the cost of the standard delivery charge you paid at the time of purchase.

5. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or is faulty, please contact us immediately at hello@archiveessentials.co.uk with photos of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any return postage costs, in accordance with your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. International Orders International orders are non-returnable unless the item arrives damaged or defective. If your order arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@archiveessentials.co.uk with your order number and photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
